What a glorious South Florida winter's day for the beautiful bride and groom to have their Lake Worth beach wedding. Nerves were high; love was in the air, laughter, and fun had by everyone.
The early morning began with setting up the Lake Worth Casino Ballroom and adding the final touches on all the handmade centerpieces, and name holders made from driftwood collected by the bride and groom in their backyard. The boutonnieres were handmade pins made out of seashells and sand dollars. Such a unique and authentic beach idea. The bride made her preparations alongside her bridesmaids in the comfort of her home, which the outdoor setting along the intra-coastal was gorgeous. The flowers arrived on time, makeup and hair created flawlessly and the champagne was pouring! The groom and his groomsmen got ready at the Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Palm Beach. Once we finished photographing the wedding details, the moment of the bride's brother first seeing her in her wedding dress, the bride with her bridesmaids, you know all the magical moments of bridal preparation Michael and I made our way to the groom's hotel. jnj
It's a completely different scene and vibe when you go from the ladies to the men. All the men were fully dressed and eagerly waiting for our arrival. The room was in perfect order. Sometimes I feel like the groom gets the better end of the stick. They're not usually the ones with the todo list still in hand. They have a set time to be ready and a set time to arrive. Everything in between magically seems to just happen for them.
The groom was nervous in the most endearing way :) Michael and I went straight to work as we had little time to film and shoot. We snapped a few posed portraits within the hotel room along with some great candid moments of the guys just having fun. The balcony made for a great photo opportunity, so I quickly ran downstairs to shoot from below. The dated architecture mixed with the old style lawn chairs and bright orange pop made for such a nostalgic groomsmen picture. The grounds of the hotel were perfect for the groom and his lively groomsmen to feel free to be themselves and that they did!
With no time to spare we headed straight to the Lake Worth Beach where guests were arriving and settling in their sits awaiting the bridal party to arrive. A beautiful late afternoon sky, curious seagulls flying above and warm sand in your toes the ceremony was about to begin. The bride had her two brothers walk her down the aisle to meet her groom. Rather than the young ones taking the role of flower girls she had her sister in laws, it was so great! Personal vows were exchanged intermixed with inside jokes and lots of laughs. It was the perfect representation of their personalities and love for one another which ultimately is exactly what your wedding day should be about!
The beach bride wore a gorgeous strapless ballgown with tulle and lots of intricate detail, it was perfect for the location that she happened to find while dress shopping with her mother. It turns out the saying "Moms know best" is pretty true. It was the first dress that her mom pulled and both of them instantly fell in love when she put it on. The bridesmaids were given the color palette of light blue and greens, settle on long dresses with straps and picked out their own bridesmaid dress.
