What is our style of photography?
That's an important question. Michael and I find our style in the middle of the road. I love a combination of traditional, posed, editorial styled images. Where Michael gravitates more towards the cinematic, candid, in your space beauty kind of images. Both of our styles cover a multitude of bases while working well together to create an amazing story. We like to know what type of photography interests you, what type of images that you're drawn to or have always seen yourself in and we create from there.
SPEAKING OF WEDDINGS: DO YOU NEED A SHOT LIST?
For weddings it is important that we are aware of what is important to you. There are moments that you may want captured to frame or give as gifts or even photos that you've seen that you've saved and pinned and definitely want to recreate and we want to be sure that we keep those in mind and photograph those moments. On a perfect wedding day everything goes according to plan. Yes, you will have the perfect wedding day but not everything may go exactly as you thought it would but in the end it's even better. A shot list is important for us to have as a guideline, especially when it comes to family portraits but we'll go over all that in our Wedding Questionnaire that we'll send to you.
DO WE OFFER THE DIGITAL FILES?
Yes we do! All of our packages include high-resolution digital images. Images will be in a hosting gallery for 2 months after delivery date for sharing, downloading and creating professional products and prints.
DO YOU PRINT OR OFFER ALBUMS?
Yes! We offer high quality online print ordering. Composing and retelling our bride and groom's wedding day in a gorgeous, modern wedding album is one of my favorite items to create. I'd love to send you our pricing on wedding album and coffee table creations. Obviously you'll need one for yourself but they make beautiful gifts for the entire family!
HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO RECEIVE MY PHOTOS?
Our portrait-session images are delivered no later than ten business days after the session and wedding images are delivered no later than three weeks after the wedding date. Wedding videos are delivered within 12 weeks from the event.
Video projects vary based on the specific project and deadline which we'll discuss at time of booking.
DO YOU HAVE INSURANCE?
Yes. We're insured and ready to go. Please let us know if you need any additional information. We're happy to send insurance directly to the venue.
CAN I POST MY IMAGES TO SOCIAL MEDIA SITES AND/OR BLOGS?
We absolutely love that you post our images and when you do we ask that you give credit where credit is due. When posting on Facebook tag us in the photo or give a shout out to Blue Stream Photography. Instagram is a great way to gain clients just like you so we greatly appreciate you giving us photo credit within your post. Detailed info can be found in your contract. We greatly appreciate our client reviews as they are an important factor to gaining new clients and the opportunity for growth.
HOW DO YOU COLLECT PAYMENT?
PORTRAITS: A deposit of 50% of the total cost is required to reserve the date. Should you need to reschedule the deposit will hold for the second date but becomes non refundable or transferrable should you need to cancel or reschedule for a third time. The remaining balance is made on the day of the shoot.
WEDDINGS: A deposit of 50% of the total cost and a signed contract are required to reserve your wedding date. The remaining balance is due 2 weeks prior to the wedding day.
